Cardiac Clinical Decision Unit (CCDU)

If you suffer a heart attack, you need quick care for the best outcome. But often, it isn’t easy to diagnose heart conditions. They may require more time for monitoring.

At NKCH, we move patients with potential heart issues to the CCDU. This special unit helps us keep the Emergency Department open for other emergency cases. It also gives patients with heart conditions the specialized care they need.
