Care Philosophy

I believe patients come first and should be an active participant in medical decisions. I work to educate patients about their medical conditions and options, so they can make informed decisions, and work with them to customize care and treatment to best fit their lifestyle. 

Area of Interest

In my practice, I identify early signs of cardiac toxicity in patients being treated with cancer therapy. I hold a rare subspecialty certification from the International Cardio-Oncology Society, which acknowledges my expertise in preventing and treating cardiac disease during and after cancer therapy. I also focus on women’s heart care, management of heart failure and imaging techniques for diagnosing various heart diseases, such as through echocardiography, nuclear imaging.
