Treatment

Our expert occupational therapists, trained in visual rehabilitation, offer a range of assessments and treatments to improve your vision or help you compensate for it. This includes:

  • Adaptive equipment education to improve function and safety
  • Dynavision™ training, which is a highly effective interactive light board used to improve visual reaction time, coordination and scanning ability
  • Motor-free Visual Perception Test, a standardized test that measures your ability to discern and understand visual stimuli
  • Taping/eyewear modifications for double vision
  • Visual reading rate assessments
  • Visual scanning training for people with loss of peripheral vision, meaning you can't see one side of vision

Driving Assessment and Therapy

Because driving is at the core of independence, we also provide driving assessments as a first step to getting you back on the road safely. If illness, injury or disability limit your ability to operate a vehicle, driving therapy may help.
