Community Health Initiatives
Every three years, we work with local partners to assess and identify the most pressing health needs of the communities we serve. During 2022-2024, our Cycle 4 focus areas in the Community Health Needs Assessment are on these three health issues impacting the Northland.
Access to Care
Transportation is one of the top five barriers healthcare in the Northland.
Cardiac Disease
NKCH and MH’s primary service area has the largest number of cardiac related hospitalizations.
Mental Health
There is a growing demand for mental health services and providers.
