Grant Helps Eliminate Specialty Care Barriers

Thanks to a $769,000 gift from The Patterson Family Foundation, North Kansas City Hospital and Harrison County Community Hospital (HCCH) are partnering on a two-year telehealth program to provide critical healthcare resources in rural northwest Missouri.

The program began in May, giving Harrison County residents access to specialty care services, including:

• Diabetes education and management
• Inpatient and outpatient mental health services
• OB-GYN and maternal health services
