At Meritas Health Northland Women’s Health Care, we provide personalized care to our OB/GYN patients and focus on their lifelong women's health needs.
Obstetric Services
We will work with you to make sure your pregnancy is as healthy and as enjoyable as possible from pre-pregnancy counseling and family planning to general postpartum care. Services include:
- Management of low-risk and high-risk pregnancies, with screening tests for genetic disorders
- Ultrasound in-office, including optional gender ultrasound and 3D/4D ultrasound is available
- Laboratory services located in the office
- Vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC)
Gynecological Care
The female reproductive system changes throughout life, and is responsible for many important functions. Gynecological health is a very important component of a woman’s overall health and requires lifelong care and maintenance. Our team of women’s health professionals provides gynecological services for women in any stage of life.

Your Appointment
Let’s make the most of your visit. Before your first appointment, please have your referring physician forward your medical records. Try to arrive 30 minutes before your first appointment, so we can verify your information. For future visits, arrive 15 minutes early.
What to Bring to Your Appointment
To each visit, please bring:
- A current, complete list of your medications
- Any applicable copay or co-insurance amounts
- Your insurance card

Prescription Refills
There are a few ways you can request a prescription refill:
- At your appointment - Tell your doctor if you’ll need a refill before your next visit.
- From the patient portal - Log in to myhealth patient portal. Under My Medications, select Renew to request a refill.
- Through your pharmacy or mail-order service - Call your pharmacy or mail-order service for refills, and they will contact us for approval.
For any refills, be sure to request them several days before you run out of medication. We respond to refill requests during business hours, so it’s helpful to plan ahead.
