myhealth


North Kansas City Hospital and Meritas Health offer convenient, secure online access to your medical information through the myhealth patient portal. This complimentary service provides better communication between patients, physicians and our hospital.

myhealth Benefits

With myhealth you can:

  • Check lab results (generally available in a few days).
  • View current medication, allergy information and immunization history.
  • View your personal health summary.
  • View radiology reports (results posted within 24 hours of the report completion).
  • View parts of your medical record, including clinical documentation and healthcare provider notes.
  • View details of upcoming appointments and request appointment changes.

You can also:

  • NEW: share information with your provider with iOS 15.
  • Submit changes to personal information, including insurance data (allow up to three business days for changes to appear).
  • Pay your bill online.
  • Find a physician.
  • Pre-register for hospital appointments.
  • Sign up for wellness classes.

To change details in your medical record (i.e. medication lists, preferred pharmacy) message your provider (see instructions below) or update at your next appointment.

The myhealth patient portal is free and available to all patients. There are two ways to sign up.

Online. Go to Self-Enrollment, and complete the form to verify your account. Online enrollment is available to patients 18 and older. You will need either:

  • Your Medical Record Number, or MRN, from your most recent discharge instructions. If you do not have an MRN, you will need to sign up with your email address.
  • Your full email address. The email address must match the one we currently have on file for you. Please note: Each family member age 18 or older needs to have a unique email address to create a patient portal account.

Once your account is verified, you will receive an email confirming your new myhealth account.

In Person. Please visit one of the following NKCH departments to sign up for a myhealth account.

  • Admitting, 1st Floor Pavilion
    Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-9 p.m.
  • Health Information Management, 1st Floor Pavilion
    Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
  • Main Lab, 2nd Floor Hospital
    Monday-Friday, 6 a.m.-6 p.m.
  • Meritas Health Practices
    Visit the front desk to ask for a myhealth portal enrollment invitation.

You will need:

  • Valid photo id
  • Active email account; Please note: Each family member age 18 or older needs to have a unique email address to create a patient portal account.
  • Computer with access to the internet
  • To have been a patient at North Kansas City Hospital or Meritas Health

You will receive an email with instructions on how to activate your myhealth account. Access myhealth online or follow the links in the email invitation.

After your account is activated, download the HealtheLife app to your smartphone for instant, on-the-go access to your myhealth account.

Please do not use this option to request a refill on your medication. See the instructions below.

1. Open “My Messages” on the left of your myhealth Portal and choose “Inbox.”

2. Go to the top of the page and select “Send a message.”

3. If you are a patient proxy, you can choose for whom your message is sent. In the “To” field, begin typing the last name of your physician to bring up his or her name. In the “Subject” field, select a subject line from the list provided. If you have a general question, choose “Patient Portal Message.

1. Expand “My Health Record” on the left of your myhealth Portal and choose “My Medications.”

2. This will bring you to your “My Medications” page with your list of current medications. At the top, select “Renew.”

3. You'll then see your “Prescription Renewal” page, where you can request prescription renewals by filling out and sending the online form.

If you received your COVID-19 vaccine at North Kansas City Hospital or Operation Safe, a record of the vaccine is in your myhealth account. This information is not a replacement card. It is a copy of the vaccination record.

How to Access

1. Log in to myhealth.
2. Select My Health Record on the left.
3. Click COVID Center to see your vaccination information.
4. Print your record or scan QR code to add to SMART Health Cards in your Apple Wallet.

If you do not have a patient portal account, you may create an account.

Additional Help

If you do not wish to create a myhealth account or if you were vaccinated elsewhere in Missouri, you can request your ShowMeVax record from State DHSS. Complete this form and email it to ImmunizationRecordRequests@health.mo.gov or fax 573.526.0238.
