Imaging Experts You Can Trust
Our board-certified radiologists specialize in diagnosing and treating conditions using medical imaging. They’re here to help you understand your test, procedure and results so you always know what to expect.
Imaging Services We Offer
We offer a wide range of imaging and radiology services, delivered with your comfort in mind, including:
- Bone density testing (DEXA)
- Breast imaging, including 3D mammograms and automated breast ultrasound (ABUS) for dense breast tissue
- Computed tomography (CT), including low-dose CT for lung cancer screening
- Heart disease scan
- Image guided joint interventions
- Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
- Nuclear medicine/PET
- Ultrasound
- X-ray
Interventional Radiology
We offer interventional radiology treatments that use imaging technology to guide medical tools to the area that needs care. Unlike traditional surgery, interventional radiology techniques require only very small incisions. And that means less pain, reduced risk of infection and a shorter recovery time.
Preparing for Your Imaging Test
We want your imaging experience to be as easy as possible — and it helps to be prepared. That’s why we invite you to always ask questions about your diagnostic procedure every step of the way. And why we’ve outlined what you can expect.
- Please arrive 15 minutes before your exam time, so you can complete any final paperwork without feeling rushed.
- Before entering the exam area, we’ll ask you to turn off your cell phone or leave it with a loved one in the waiting area.
- You will be permitted to bring only one adult with you into the exam room. Other loved ones, including your children, will be asked to wait in our waiting area. Please make sure an adult is available to stay with them during your exam.
Please contact the medical imaging team at 816.455.0661 for more information about testing preparations for children.
Your Imaging Test Results
After your imaging test, we aim to get you fast, accurate results. Our picture archiving communication system (PACS) allows our healthcare providers to access images quickly from almost any location using secure, web-based software.
Your doctor’s office will contact you after your results are available and let you know if you need any additional appointments or tests. And if you have a MyHealth account, you also can view the results online.
Request a Copy of Your Results
Need a physical copy of your imaging test? Visit the Medical Records office, located on the 1st Floor of the Pavilion, to sign a release. For your convenience, you can print and complete the release form prior to your visit.
Get details on requesting your records if you are unable to visit the Medical Records in person.
