If you’re searching for ways to enjoy the Kansas City area during a stay-cation, celebration or date night, we’ve compiled a list of eight local wineries and 8 Health Benefits of Drinking Wine.

Jowler Creek Vineyard & Winery – Platte City
Jowler Creek uses green technology, such as solar power, to make its wine. You might also see sheep to control weeds and chickens to reduce insects on the 6-acre sustainable vineyard. Vox Vineyards prides itself on its location. The eastern woodlands, western plains, Ozark highlands and Mississippi Delta create the perfect environment for cultivating their grapes.
