
North Kansas City Hospital recently welcomed three new members to its administrative leadership team.
“Our newest members of the administrative team have many years of industry experience,” said Stephen Reintjes, Sr., MD, president and chief executive officer of NKCH and Meritas Health. “We believe their talents will complement the existing team, helping us stay competitive in an ever-changing industry.”
Amy Crawford 
Amy Crawford joined the hospital as vice president of Revenue Cycle. After holding various leadership roles at Children’s Mercy Hospital for nearly 12 years, Crawford now oversees NKCH’s Revenue Cycle operations, including Patient Scheduling, Patient Access and Patient Accounts.
Crawford earned her master’s degree in health services administration from the University of Kansas Medical Center after completing her bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Kansas.
Nic Riesenberg 
Nic Riesenberg was promoted to vice president of Facilities. Riesenberg leads Facilities Engineering, Design & Construction, Property Management and Environmental Services. Riesenberg initially served as director of Design & Construction and interim vice president of Facilities Engineering.
Prior to NKCH, he was director of Facilities Engineering at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD, and served as the design and construction manager at The University of Kansas Health System. He earned an MBA from the University of Phoenix after completing a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering at Iowa State University. He brings more than 15 years of industry experience to NKCH.
Rob Schlicht 
Rob Schlicht also joined the hospital as the vice president of Professional Services. Schlicht leads Pharmacy Services, Radiology, Rehab Services (Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy), Respiratory Care Services, Laboratory, Food and Nutrition Services and Wound Healing. He brings over 20 years of healthcare management experience to his role at North Kansas City Hospital.
Prior to this role, Schlicht worked for several healthcare organizations. He earned his master’s degree in physical therapy from Rockhurst University after completing his bachelor’s degree in finance and banking at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
