About Me

Following a typical midwest upbringing and graduating from the University of Kansas, I hopped over the state line to earn a master of science in bioinformatics with an emphasis in qualitative clinical research at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. After establishing relationships with so many patients through my research, I felt compelled to pursue a career in medicine. I stayed on campus and proceeded to graduate from the physician assistant program.

After five years of practicing at an academic hospital, I was ready to transition to a community setting and found a new home in partnering with Dr. Ian Rosbrugh, specializing in pelvic health and treating patients in the clinic and the operating room.

During my off hours you can find me spending time with my husband and two daughters, making attempts at the culinary arts, and enjoying film, literature and outdoor activities. I am a lover of Latin culture and jump at any opportunity to practice speaking Spanish.

Care Philosophy

With each patient, my goal is to develop a comprehensive and customized care plan. I empower patients to engage in shared decision-making that honors their preferences, values, cultural beliefs and socioeconomic conditions. My favorite aspect of patient care is education, and I am always happy to spend time teaching women about their bodies and how to optimize their well-being.
