Amanda Humiston, M.D., FACOG

Biography

Dr. Humiston is from small-town rural Iowa and completed her training there and in Milwaukee. She and her husband, who is from a farming community in Nebraska, are Nebraska Husker fans. They also enjoy Royals Baseball games and activities with their school-age children. They love living in the Northland and taking in the nearby Kansas City Symphony and Starlight Theater.

Care Philosophy

Dr. Humiston sees healthcare as a lifelong journey, involving the patient, the family and the healthcare provider. She seeks to give her patients good information and recommendations so they may make the best choices about their healthcare. She recognizes that everyone has different priorities, which can change over time. She feels that only as a team, may the best results be achieved.

Area of Interest

Dr. Humiston's area of interests include noninvasive surgery, long-term birth control options, and caring for women young and older in all aspects of obstetric and gynecology care.
