Cardiology Non-Invasive


Seeking BE/BC general cardiologist to join collegial, highly respected group of 15 at North Kansas City Hospital providing general cardiology with 5 interventionalists in busy STEMI program with over 750 interventions, 8 general cardiologists and 2 experienced electrophysiologists.

As part of our succession plan, we will be recruiting cardiologists with the expertise and skills needed to complement the group.

Solid referral base includes 60+ employed and 25+ independent primary care physicians. Established TAVR program, Watchman, MitraClip, heart failure and anticoagulation clinics, as well as cardiac rehab seeing over 60 patients/day. Newly-renovated four cath labs with hybrid room.

Inpatient services are provided at North Kansas City Hospital, an accredited chest pain center and 451-bed, level 2 trauma center with 21,000 admissions and 80,000 ER visits last year.

Dedicated ICU for cardiovascular services/open hearts. Hospitalists admit and manage patients. Advanced practitioners assist with consultative service and discharges. Cerner is hospital and clinic EMR.

This position is hospital employed through multi-specialty group, Meritas Health, a subsidiary of North Kansas City Hospital, comprised of 160 physicians.
