Earlier this year, Meritas Health Gashland Infusion Clinic opened to provide specialized therapy for asthma, dehydration, hyperlipidemia, migraines and osteoporosis. Additional therapies will be added in the coming months.
With support from Michael DiBernardo, MD, and Andrew Jurgensmeier, MD, both family medicine doctors at Meritas Health Gashland, this clinic brings pharmacy, nursing and primary care together. This collaborative care allows patients to receive treatment closer to home. This new location is staffed by two oncology-certified nurses, a pharmacist and two pharmacy technicians.
