Outside of work, I enjoy bicycling, reading, cooking and backcountry camping.

In addition to helping my patients understand their options, I want to understand their challenges and goals.
Area of Interest
I provide all aspects of neurosurgical care, including for brain, spinal and peripheral nerve diseases, injuries and tumors. I also have expertise is in stereotactic brain surgery, which uses image guidance to target brain tumors, and in functional neurosurgery for the treatment of chronic conditions, such as epilepsy and movement disorders, with electrical stimulation of the brain and spinal cord.
