Biography

I had the good fortune to grow up with a backyard pond, where I did fly-fishing using lures I made. I still enjoy fishing and the Northland, where I live, offers that avocation. Of course, I especially enjoy spending time with my family and friends and doing other activities, such as traveling, playing sports and running.

Care Philosophy

I endeavor to educate families and their children so their children may avoid complications later in life.

Area of Interest

I enjoy the variety of pediatrics. That includes helping adolescents who have Type 2 diabetes. Addressing this disease in this age group is paramount because helping them change their behaviors with diet and exercise has long-term ramifications for improved health.
