Keith M. Opat, D.O.

Biography

I am an avid competitive golfer and enjoy taking in live concerts. I like to get outside and hike, and I've successfully reached the summit of six 14er ( 14,000-foot) peaks in Colorado.

Care Philosophy

I try to make sure with each of my patients that I know exactly what is going on and can answer any questions they may have, so I can help keep them comfortable and help keep them safe during their operation.

Area of Interest

I am interested in all aspects of anesthesia, and I did my fellowship training in adult cardiothoracic anesthesiology at The Ohio State University's Wexner Medical Center. I am drawn to the increased complexity of patients in need of cardiothoracic surgery, as well as the additional surgical collaboration the field brings.
