Care Philosophy

As a cardiac anesthesiologist, I think it is important to treat a patient with the end game in mind, not just getting them through the surgery, but what I can do with the various medications I give that can best set them up for success in the long term.

Areas of Interest

As a cardiac anesthesiologist, my focus is on providing anesthesia for cases requiring cardiopulmonary bypass and the use of transesophageal echo (TEE) to help diagnose and treat cardiac pathology in the operating room. My favorite cases are valve replacements, as I really am required to utilize TEE technology to assist the cardiac surgeons in the best manner to fix the problem.
