Benjamin D. Fangman, M.D.

Biography

I had a wonderful mentor in the small town I grew up in, who was a surgeon. Being around him, seeing what he could do to help his patients and experiencing how much he cared, showed me this was my calling. I knew I wanted to be a physician going into high school.

Care Philosophy

Dr. Fangman believes the goal of oncology is to give patients as much of their lives back as possible. He wants patients to be able to spend time with their families and support systems, not in medical offices and hospitals.

Area of Interest

Dr. Fangman’s clinical interests include general medical oncology, hematologic malignancies and benign hematology.
