Andrew W. Peck, M.D.

Biography

I was a competitive swimmer in my youth, and I enjoy playing sports, including free diving; playing golf, pickleball and racquetball; road biking; skiing; slacklining (like very low tightrope walking between two trees for balance) and swimming. I also played percussion all they way through college, and during college I did a monthlong musical residency in Vienna, Austria. It was then I fell in love with Austrian Expressionism. I also do chalk art, including at some festivals, and enjoy salsa and swing dancing.

Care Philosophy

I try to picture my patients as my family members, so how I would want them to be treated. Before I open the curtain to talk with a patient, I like to take a breath and reset myself to give my patients the time they deserve.

Area of Interest

As an anesthesiologist, I can be involved with a lot of different areas, including general and regional anesthesia, pain management and enhanced recovery after surgery.
