Patient Experience Advisory Council
North Kansas City Hospital's Patient Advisory Council (PEAC) engages former patients and their family members in conversations about ways the hospital can continue improving overall patient experience, safety and outcomes.
PEAC Goals
- Identify from the patient and family point of view what defines a remarkable patient and family experience
- Advise on focused topics to refine or improve opportunities for excellent patient and family experiences
- Champion NKCH-approved initiatives that enhance experiences, safety and outcomes for patients and families
- Promote the hospital’s mission, vision and values among patients and family members in the community
Voices of Change
The council includes five patients and/or family members who have received care at NKCH, as well as employees and leadership.
