The American College of Radiology has recognized the Women’s Imaging program at North Kansas City Hospital as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence. That means we’ve chosen to go through a rigorous review process to ensure we meet nationally accepted standards. Because we want the best for our patients.

As a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, you can expect the following:

• Accredited services – All our services have been reviewed and approved. We’ve received accreditation in mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, breast ultrasound, ultrasound-guided breast biopsy and breast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
• A certified care team – Everyone you work with has gone through education and certification, so they are qualified to perform and interpret your medical images. They can also administer your radiation therapy treatments.
• Safe and modern equipment – Our facility meets or exceeds quality assurance and safety guidelines. So, you know the equipment we use is the most appropriate for your treatment.
