In a September KSHB 41 Kansas City Spotlight and in local radio broadcasts, Dr. Boerkircher shared how people can improve their heart health by exercising regularly, quitting smoking, maintaining a heart-healthy diet and knowing one’s genetic factors. He also described various indicators for underlying cardiovascular disease and the need to see one’s primary care physician and/or get a referral to see a Meritas Health Cardiology cardiologist.

During “Bone Up on Osteoporosis,” a December Lunch & Learn, Dr. Kesl , an orthopedic surgeon with Orthopedic Surgeons Inc., discussed the causes, risks, prevention, diagnosis and treatment for osteoporosis.
