North Kansas City Hospital Joins the Mayo Clinic Care Network

North Kansas City Hospital is pleased to join the Mayo Clinic Care Network, becoming part of a worldwide network of independent healthcare systems with special access to Mayo Clinic’s expertise.

The Mayo Clinic Care Network is a select group of carefully selected, independent healthcare organizations with special access to Mayo Clinic's knowledge and team of specialists. Members undergo a thorough review process to demonstrate their commitment to providing high-quality and evidence-based care.

This agreement reinforces NKCH’s commitment to providing exceptional healthcare while remaining independent. Providers from NKCH will be able to blend their intimate understanding of patients' medical needs with Mayo Clinic expertise whenever it enhances care.

Members of the Mayo Clinic Care Network have access to a variety of services such as AskMayoExpert, an online medical tool with clinical information on a variety of conditions, eBoards that enable medical teams to discuss complex cases in video conferences with a panel of specialists and eConsults that allow physicians to connect with Mayo Clinic specialists on patient cases. In addition, the Mayo Clinic Care Network provides opportunities for professional development and continuous medical education for providers.
