North Kansas City Hospital remains as committed to providing quality healthcare in our community today as we did when our doors first opened in 1958.

Every year we provide care to hundreds of thousands of patients and $40+ million in charity care to patients who do not have the ability to pay.

A Recipient of Magnet® designation for nursing excellence, a recognition earned by less than 9% of U.S. hospitals.
In U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hospitals 2022-2023 rankings and ratings. This honor recognizes the hospital’s performance in complex care in medical specialties and in common procedures and conditions. NKCH also ranked High Performing in 10 procedures and conditions and received a Best Regional Hospital designation.
The Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval® and certification for Comprehensive Cardiac Center, Advanced Total Hip and Total Knee Replacement, and Primary Stroke Center.

Our impact goes beyond providing quality healthcare. We also offer a variety of community health and wellness programs that focus on making the Northland a healthier place to live and work. More than 16,791 people participated in our community programs last year.
