NKCH Physician Liaisons Colleen Bardone and Valinda Vandervelden:
- Assist in issue resolution
- Facilitate introductions and communications between referring physicians and specialty physicians
- Inform physicians of hospital procedures and services
- Onboard new physicians
Bardone, who joined NKCH as a physician liaison in 2015, has a 23-year background in healthcare as a hospice liaison and pharmaceutical representative. She earned her bachelor’s degree in communications, cum laude, from Rockhurst University.
Vandervelden has more than 24 years of professional experience, including 10 in healthcare management, marketing and customer service management. Prior to joining NKCH, she was senior practice manager of Meritas Health ENT. She also has served NKCH as the patient access supervisor. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business and master’s degree in business administration from Baker University.
