Among North Kansas City Hospital and Meritas Health’s recent honors are two patient satisfaction recognitions – from Reputation.com and Press Ganey – and a top employer ranking from Forbes.
Patient Satisfaction
The Reputation.com 800 Award honors healthcare providers who earn a “Reputation Score” of 800 or higher. Thirty-four NKCH and MH providers received the honor.
Reputation’s 800 Award is based on the analysis of millions of online reviews and ratings from a variety of sources, including Facebook, Google and Yelp. Providers with higher Reputation scores stand out in search results and online reviews. A score of 800 or higher is exceptional.
The NICU is a recipient of the 2022 Press Ganey Human Experience Guardian of Excellence Award. This honor ranks NKCH and MH in the top 5% of hospital systems in the nation for providing a quality patient care experience.
From July 2020 through March 2022, NICU families rated the system highly for the level of care and likelihood to recommend it to others. Press Ganey provides healthcare technology solutions to healthcare facilities. Its survey platform offers tools for employee engagement, patient experience, marketing and analytics.
NKCH has the only Level III NICU in the Northland. Through a partnership with Children’s Mercy Kansas City, neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners care for babies born as early as 28 weeks.
