Hospice Care
Facing a terminal illness can be overwhelming. Hospice care helps people with limited life expectancy make the most of the time remaining by meeting the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of each patient.
The NorthCare Hospice Team of Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care offers comprehensive hospice services for you and your loved ones wherever you’re most comfortable—your home, a care facility or the NorthCare Hospice House. When care is too complex to be managed at home, Hospice House provides compassionate support in a comfortable, home-like setting.

What Sets Us Apart
The compassionate team of professionals at NorthCare Hospice focuses on maintaining the best possible quality of life for our patients. Led by a medical director who is board-certified in hospice and palliative medicine, we treat our patients like family while providing leading-edge care. We’re locally owned with deep roots in the Northland community and, as a “teaching hospice,” we regularly train students and professionals from various disciplines.
We also offer specialized care programs and services tailored to specific patient needs—programs not available in most hospice organizations.
- Cardiac Program – one of the first in the United States
- Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) or Lou Gehrig’s Disease Program
- Advanced Lung Disease Program
