Two New Imaging Centers Added for Community Convenience

People seeking imaging services from North Kansas City Hospital now have two additional locations from which to choose. The Hospital recently reopened the newly remodeled Tremont Imaging Center off I-29 and 64th Street and also announces the purchase of Medical Imaging at Hwy 152 and North Oak Trafficway.

The beautifully remodeled Tremont Imaging Center boasts all new equipment including state-of-the-art:

• MRI – ability to perform as much as 40 percent faster, is more spacious than traditional MRIs and can accommodate patients up to 550 pounds.
• CT – equipped with the most modern dose-reduction capabilities, which means up to 40 percent less radiation needed for imaging.
• Ultrasound – ranks as one of the most up-to-date systems in today’s market.
• X-rays – provides full-range diagnostic digital X-rays.

Tremont Imaging Center is located at 5501 NW 62nd Terrace, Suite 200, Kansas City, MO., 64151. The 13 board-certified radiologists with Northland Radiology, Inc., who are also on staff at North Kansas City Hospital, interpret all exams and are on-site Monday-Friday. Tremont offers convenient daytime, evening and Saturday hours.

Medical Imaging is strategically located at 9501 North Oak Trafficway. The Hospital acquired the facility in January and currently services new and existing patients.
