This month, North Kansas City Hospital launched an independent cancer care program, which includes comprehensive medical, radiation and surgical oncology, as well as cancer infusion services.

Sukumar Ethirajan, MD, senior consultant for the North Kansas City Hospital Cancer Center, is heading the program with his unparalleled expertise in patient-centered cancer care and innovative care delivery.

Board-certified oncologists, nurses, radiologists, surgeons and technicians are providing personalized care and support for patients in the Northland and their families.

Ben Fangman, MD, and Jaswinder Singh, MD, are our two new medical oncologists. Dr. Fangman is board-certified in internal medicine with experience in hematology and oncology from Houston’s MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Singh is a well-known cancer care educator who works on cutting-edge clinical trials that lead the way in the fight against cancer. He is a hematologist/oncologist with board certification in internal medicine.

Our new board-certified radiation oncologist John Park, MD, comes to our health system from Veterans Affairs, where he helped write the quality guidelines used nationwide in the VA system.
